Power
In human activities, there are four main sources of power:
The most important power is the power of knowledge. We need to use rational thought and apply the concept of right and wrong to guide us in making decisions.
Power: possession of control, authority, or influence over others.
Q. What does power want?
A. To protect and increase its power.
Many times the powerful abuse their power to increase it. The concentration of power is a bad thing. Power serves best when it is widely held.
And the greatest power is knowledge.
To prevent abuse of power, we need to prevent the concentration of power in the first place: Rule of Law, Democracy, Market based economy and separation of Church and State.
