About Purpose

I believe we can deduce purpose by observing events over time and identifying the results of prior actions.

• Life: The purpose of life is to increase intelligence in the universe.
• Humankind: The purpose of humankind is to discover and deploy technology (the application of knowledge).
• Individual: The purpose of individual human life is to serve the betterment of the creation (our world).
• Government: The primary purpose of government is to protect individuals and society from harm.
• Democracy: The primary purpose of democracy is to prevent the concentration of power into the hands of the few.
• Economy: The purpose of the economy is to ensure the efficient allocation of labor for the common good.
• Capitalism: The primary purpose of Capitalism is to promote the efficient production of goods and services.
• Money: The purpose of money is to establish the relative value of one type of labor against all other types of labor.
• Organization: The primary purpose of social organization is to provide a Just Society.

There are two choices: A thing has purpose or not. If a thing has no purpose then it need not exist. Therefore, if a thing exist, then at one time it had purpose.

Purpose: the reason why something is done or used : the aim or intention of something.
