Conclusion

Life is a struggle. Everyone tries to find their way and be successful. We all believe in the Golden Rule.

When we are young, we learn that the Golden Rule is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

By hard work, perseverance and luck some people are successful and achieve positions of power in the economy and society. Some in power, then decide that the Golden Rule is "The person with the gold rules".

Conclusion: Power corrupts - thus humankind falls victim to Original Sin.

To prevent abuse of power, we need to prevent the concentration of power in the first place:

• Rule of Law
• Democracy
• Market based economy
• separation of Church and State
