With Knowledge Based Solutions:
- designed, developed and maintained the web site
- designed, developed and maintained multiple products using C++ under Microsoft Foundation Classes
With IBM:
- Was a member of the team which converted the IBM Customer Information System from DOS to VS1 operation in the early 70's. Designed and implemented a DASD device independent access method for this assembler source Field Developed Program and provided defect support for the life of this product
- Introduced the Time Sharing Option of the MVT operating system into the development system of a local bank. Initiated, designed, and performed the justification study and provided the technical support for the implementation of this key bank system early in the introduction phase of this now main stream subsystem
- Led four person joint development team for a multi-host financial switch application. Designed, managed, and provided implementation for significant components of this project which completed on time with very low error rate. This assembler source application provided support for automated teller machines and point of sale terminals in a SNA network
- As a member of the IBM team supporting a large financial services client, provided technical support for both the team and the client for twenty-five years. During this period, IBM and the client have enjoyed an excellent working relationship and the customer's systems have achieved superior results while supporting the business processes as the bank has grown to become one of the largest in the U.S. Using his skills in problem solving, technical research, and the background in systems design and operation, he provided support for the entire system with particular emphasis on the host systems
- Provided technical support for cryptographic security for the Federal Reserve Bank team. Developed a cryptographic services routine for the Federal Reserve's cryptographic key management application to support movement of keys from the Transaction Security System to the Cryptographic Services Facility of the IBM ES 9021 processor
- Provided technical marketing support for the implementation of S/390 Parallel Sysplex at a large financial institution
