Using the hypertext model, it allows an individual to collect and organize information as it presents itself during the daily routine. Over time, this information provides a tangible record of the lifetime experience. This experience can be analyzed and organized to form a knowledge base for future use and sharing with others. Personal Knowledge System has been optimized for use by a single user at a time.
The My Knowledge Base package consists of the My Knowledge System with an extended sample Knowledge Base (KwB) extracted from the author's personal KwB. Its purpose is to support the collection, organization and sharing of knowledge among a wide group of people. The MyKwB system is intended to provide a high level index into an individual's life time store of knowledge. It provides an easy to use way for the individual to collect information of interest to that individual and to reference material on the world wide web as well as material stored in other applications on a personal computer running Windows(R).

Personal Reference Tracker is a computer program for the collection and organization of information about references. Using the database model, it allows an individual to collect information about documents used for research. By assigning keywords to each reference document, a collection of references may be organized using a keyword tree into groups as determined by the user. These references can be analyzed and organized to form a reference base for future use and sharing with others.
Research Knowledge System combines the functions of Personal Knowledge System and Personal Reference Tracker into a single application. This facilitates keeping organized notes on knowledge and the methods used to collect the knowledge.
Student Knowledge System is a computer program for the collection and organization of knowledge. Using the hypertext model, it allows an individual to collect and organize information as it presents itself during the study process. This application also supports group discussion over a virtual private network using the Internet.
Knowledge System Browser is a computer program for accessing knowledge which resides in a Knowledge Base built by one or more of the other applications in the Knowledge System family of products. Using the hypertext model, it allows an individual to view knowledge in an existing knowledge base on the organization network or over the Internet using a virtual private network.
Knowledge System Server is a computer program for the delivery of knowledge which resides in a Knowledge Base built by one or more of the other applications in the Knowledge System family of products. Using the hypertext model, it is provided as a solution where a higher volume of network traffic is desired for access by users internal or external to the organization network.
